While I was attending college in the early 1980s our economy took a dive and the United States entered into a deep recession. It hit me hard. There were no jobs available and I felt completely helpless. When I did graduate, the economy slowly began to pick up. It took me a while to find work, but when I did I landed a job at a local insurance agency. As luck would have it, I found my true calling helping others solve their problems and found true satisfaction in protecting them from financial disaster. Because of my experiences, I understood all too well how devastating it can be for someone who is unprepared the winds of change.<\/p>\n
I decided to form Gerling Insurance precisely because of that need. Now, 32 years later, it was one of the best decisions of my life. I currently live in Newburgh, Indiana with my loving and supportive wife, Katrina (an even better decision!). My life\u2019s top three priorities are: God, family, and job and I’m devoted to doing the best I can for all aspects of my life.<\/p>\n
